Seline Karakaya Biography

Seline Karakaya leads Excelerate Global, a premier advisory group specializing in venture capital and private equity. With a strategic focus on supporting growth and fundraising, Seline partners with entities ranging from fledgling startups (with revenues under $1M) to established multinationals (exceeding $1B in revenue). She often steps into interim CXO roles to address critical issues alongside founders, CEOs, and Boards of Directors, tackling challenges from growth and commercial excellence to  business development and fundraising.

Before establishing Excelerate Global, Seline served as a Director at American Securities in New York, where she co-developed the innovative "Shared Vision" value creation process. She advised CEOs across diverse industries on strategic planning, talent management, and change initiatives, while spearheading the firm's commercial due diligence efforts.

Seline was previously a management consultant with Bain & Company, focusing on M&A and corporate strategy for clients in private equity, retail, consumer products, and tech/media. Seline was Chief of Staff at FEI Women’s Health, managing strategic commercial initiatives leading to its acquisition by Barr Pharmaceuticals. 

Seline is an alumnus of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business Honors Program, graduating with the highest honors in Business Administration, Strategy & Finance. Committed to making a difference, she actively supports early education initiatives and animal welfare globally.
